Hotel Monínec*** lies on Javorová skála hill 70km south of Prague on the borders of the Central and South Bohemia Regions. It is the highest point between Prague and Šumava at an elevation of 723 m above sea-level. There is a stunning view over the Český Merán and Česká Sibiř countryside from the hotel. The newly built Hotel Monínec*** was founded on the location of the original building and is part of Monínec Sports and Relaxation Centre. It provides comfort and relaxation in the middle of the countryside and is suitable for relaxation, private events and holding company events, seminars and conferences.
There are 84 beds (22 double rooms, 6 three-bed rooms, 4 four-bed rooms) in the hotel. Guests can take advantage of our wellness facilities (pool, sauna, massage, gym), our restaurant with terrace (90 to 150 seats), conference hall (approx. 60 people) and lounge. Upon arrival, inform reception. There is a spacious car-park behind the hotel.
You can choose from accommodation in a standard room or room with view, some additionally with a terrace. Here you can truly appreciate the unique landscape and scenery of Český Merán. You can also admire the stunning view from the hotel restaurant’s terrace or wellness centre and relaxation zones.
„We’re happy that this beautiful location and growing sports and relaxation centre has been extended with a high quality hotel,“ says hotel manager, Jaroslav Krejčí. „I’m truly happy with the end result. The building blends in naturally with the landscape, the wooden walnut-finish cladding is very aesthetically pleasing. Ing arch. Daniel Smitka and the designers have also considered the practical side of the building, which is why it is designed to have the lowest possible operating costs. Heating, for example, is provided by a water-air heat pump and rain water is used for flushing,“ adds Jaroslav Krejčí.
The unifying interior feature is the Quarzite mix stone tiles which are tinted with a natural brown varnish. The interior rooms are designed in a combination of Baltimore walnut and cappuccino laminate, again in natural earthy colours. The pool with its view over the countryside is another feature which is interesting from an architectural perspective, tiled in blue and white. The whirlpool is designed with a ceramic mosaic tile feature of light and dark blue. Guests in this zone can also use our gym and massage and relaxation zones.
The hotel has four storeys. The "basement" contains wellness facilities, the ground floor contains the foyer, reception, restaurant and terrace, lounge and conference hall. The rooms are on the first and second floors.
