The restaurant in Hotel Monínec *** offers select quality cuisine with tables offering great views over the Český Merán countryside.
The hotel restaurant cuisine offers traditional Czech food plus specialities for those with a sweet tooth. We strive to use local ingredients and reject pre-prepared ingredients, flavourings and instant product substitutes. In coming up with our menu, we start out with the fact we are located in woodland, so you’ll find wild mushrooms, blueberries and forest fruit in our meals, and in autumn and winter we’ll include game .
From 11am until 5pm, we prepare a lunch menu for our guests made up of ready-to-serve meals, and from 5pm our guests can choose from our standard menu. In good weather on summer weekends, we’ll barbecue on the terrace, which offers stunning views over the Český Merán valley.
For company and private parties and events, we’ll prepare buffets and celebratory feasts, which can be combined with a roast suckling pig , turkey or ham joints on an open barbecue just under the hotel.
The food is prepared by our team of cooks under head chef Marek Volšanský.
You can also take refreshments on the terrace and nip down to the swimming pool on the floor below.
