The Monínec resort is on Javorová skála, 80 km south of Prague on the border between the Central Bohemian and South Bohemian Regions near the town of Sedlec-Prčice. Monínec lies in the heart of Czech Siberia, and the combination of its microclimate, north slope and elevation makes Monínec a unique natural glacier. There are several slopes for skiers and snowboarders.

During your summer holiday, you do not have to move from the area and you will not be bored. But there are also many trips, whether by bike, on foot or by car. In summer, athletes will especially appreciate the large number of bike paths in the resort, but also fun attractions in the resort. These include, for example, a bike park with several routes suitable for both experienced bikers and beginners, children and women.
Directly in the area you can have fun in the activities of the Monínec Park, at attractions such as a water slide, giant ball track, trampolines, tubing, disc golf, rope park, mountain scooters, tennis, volleyball and more. Just a few minutes walk from the lower station of the cable lift is the natural swimming pool Pilský rybník and for summer refreshment it is possible to use the outdoor pool at the Hotel Monínec.
Families with children will also appreciate the modern playground located next to the Hotel Monínec. Many visitors also come to us for golf, which they enjoy at the nearby Čertovo Břemeno course.
Enjoy skiing in any weather
Skiing with everything you need for it and also with the most modern snowmaking system in the Czech Republic.
Monínec lies in the heart of Czech Siberia, and the combination of its microclimate, north slope and elevation makes Monínec a unique natural glacier. There are several slopes for skiers and snowboarders. Our four-seat chairlift will take you to the top of the 1.2 km long slope. The ski school teaches adults and children in two skiparks. Of course, there is an absolute background with complete equipment for winter sports, including rental and ski service. The resort is also equipped with the latest snow-making technology allowing snow to be produced at temperatures above zero degrees. Monínec is thus the ideal place for skiing near Prague.
Besides downhill skiing, there are other winter attractions here such as snowtubing and of course sledging and bobsleigh. There are regularly maintained and well marked cross-country skiing trails around Monínec, almost 54 kilometres in length.
