Vlksice Fortress

The remains of graphite decoration, a black kitchen, and original net vaults with intersecting ribs. This is all hidden in a well-preserved Renaissance fortress in Vlksice.

The Vlksice Fortress dates back to the mid-16th century, and if you’re lucky, its owner will allow you to discover its secrets. And what about an autumn theatre performance in the fortress? That’s a true ancient atmosphere!
