Hotel Monínec *** is located on the Javorská skála 80 km south of Prague near the town of Sedlec-Prčice. It is the highest point on the axis Prague - Šumava at an altitude of 723 meters above sea level. The hotel has a beautiful view of the countryside of Czech Meran and Czech Siberia. The hotel offers comfort and peace in the middle of nature and is suitable for relaxation, private events as well as for corporate events, seminars and conferences. The hotel has 84 beds. Guests can use the wellness, restaurant with terrace, conference hall and lounge. There is a spacious car park behind the hotel. A new attractive part of the hotel are the Monínec Terraces with an outdoor swimming pool, a children's playground and a café bar.

Hotel offers 22 double rooms, 8 triple rooms, 4 triple rooms with extra bed. They are also available room type Family room.
We have several rooms with a terrace and a breathtaking view of the countryside. Other rooms have a northern orientation of windows overlooking the valley, on the south side of the rooms are directed to the quiet of the forest.
Wellness Monínec
Wellness include: swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, massage and rest room. You can enjoy everything with the current unrivaled view of the green or snowy scenery of Czech Meran.

Terraces Monínec
Since 2019, the area also includes a cascading platform called Terraces Monínec. It is located directly below the hotel and includes: Cafe bar connected to the hotel restaurant, outdoor swimming pool and playground.
In two levels you will find swings on the playground, a slide with a climbing wall, a separate climbing wall, two climbing frames, two swings, a sandpit and a jumping doll.
Restaurant Monínec
The restaurant offers traditional Czech dishes and specialties for sweet tongues. We try to use local ingredients, eliminating semi-finished products, flavorings and instant substitutes. When creating menus, we assume that we are in the woods, so in our meals you will find mushrooms, blueberries, berries. In autumn and winter we include venison.

Hotel children's corner
The most suitable place that we would recommend to parents with the youngest are our Terraces and the local multifunctional playground, but we understand that in bad weather is of course the best with a roof over your head.
Near the hotel restaurant, we have defined a space for a children's corner, where your children can use basic toys and equipment for their entertainment.
Active rest around the hotel
The hotel offers lockers for each room where ski equipment can be stored. A rental ski is also available for hotel guests in the neighboring New Javorka. Directly below the hotel you will find multi-sport clay courts and, last but not least, a hotel ski slope for beginners.
The main ski slope is about 100 m walk from the hotel reception.

Perfect cleanliness throughout the hotel, including wellness. The food in the restaurant is excellent. We were there for summer vacation, but we will definitely return in winter.

We are pleased that we have managed to expand this beautiful location and the ever-expanding sports and relaxation center to include a quality hotel, says hotel manager Jaroslav Krejčí. I am also very happy about the final result. The structure naturally fits into the terrain, with aesthetic appearance of wooden decking with walnut glazing. Ing. Daniel Smitka, together with the designers, also thought about the practical aspects of the construction, and therefore the building is designed to have the lowest possible operating costs. For example, heating is provided by water-to-air heat pumps, rainwater is used for flushing, adds Jaroslav Krejčí.
